This copy bears a funy gift inscription from Theresa Stevens to her husband, author James Stevens. Stevens is best remembered as the man who popularized the Paul Bunyan legends. Stevens has also written a note beneath the inscription describing meeting Stephen Vincent Benet at Alfred Knopf's home.
