Many of them have been subjected to subtle digital changes. The pictures are often dominated 'by a sense of stopping, watching and waiting'; everything about them seems temporary and fragile. The digital re-workings give his pictures an uncanny quality and hint at deeper themes of presence and absence, life and death.
